Just the one at the moment (Boooo!) which looking at this list puts me in with a minority! The most i've owned is 3 (82 Golf, 89 MG Maestro, 85 Renner 5), though only with a maximum of 2 actually working!

all taxed, tested and insured. how many of the cars you own are actually legal for the road? Good point - updated my original post with that details 3/5 on road - I don't like insuring any more than three and it is unusual for me to have more than 2 vehicles taxed at anyone time too

T&T three, as I wrote above. Insurance pretty cheap, but road tax probably my biggest expense as my cars usually >1500cc. I can't drive all three at once and just because I have three cars doesn't mean I drive three times the mileage. Ho hum.

its a 1.9tdi (begging to be chipped etc) so i hope so Chipped?? is that as bad as being scratched? ...My newest driver was built in 1972 and doesn't have too many scratches or Chips... LOL ;D ;D ;D ;D

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Just the two in my sig at the moment plus my g/f's Lupo 16v, so three really. I think the most at one time was four when I first got the Mk1 Golf and hadn't yet sold the Mk1 Polo, plus Mk2 Golf and Lupo. To be honest, any more than three to tax, insure and MOT is a pain! My Dad on the other hand has recently trimmed his fleet to include aircooled VW's only (he previous had a classic Bedford addiction too with a good few of those knocking around) and has about eight vehicles at last count!

The household has 4 cars, 3 of which are mine.
One isnt even vaguely retro, one is my Golf and the other is a 1980's diesel of French origin.
Only one of my cars is taxed and MOT'd though.

6 or is it 7?
1965 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 1966 Buick LeSabre 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury 1968 Vauxhall Victor 1970 Vauxhall Ventora 1976 Ford Capri
We also have a 1995 Toyota Celica GT which is mostly my wifes.
I did own 16 cars at once at one point. But I ended up with none of them running and road legal.
I can keep about 3 or 4 cars running and legal realistically.

Three is the magic number- 1979 Mini Clubman project 1991 Mini Mayfair 1989 Skoda Rapid 136
Most I've had is 4, I had a 1983 Mk1 XR2 and the spare Rapid before the Mayfair came. We have ashamedly had 3 maroon mk3 fiestas before :S, down to one now though. I'm sure I could fit loads more in the garden if I added them one by one so Dad didn't notice (or if I only bought ones he liked).
