This is the sort of bucketseats you want: Corbeau and Cobra still make them like that. Steering wheel either: or: Again, Mountney still make them like that. Interiors were just stripped out, no ally panelwork or anything. Or alternatively you can go the whole hog and cover everything in buttoned red crushed velvet, tassles, mini-bar and porthole windows. Winner!

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Stripped interior, painted matte black, mountney wheel, Corbeau buckets, extinguisher mounted behind the passenger's knees... *n Sounds like my Shuv!!! However Mr Penski this presents another question. Do i paint the whole car in its new colour inside and out, or do inside/engine bay/boot in satin black for full racer style and easy colour change in the future? I'm leaning towards painting the whole car body colour as ive always wanted a car body colour and shiny inside - sad i know. mmmmmm so much to think about

Man those buckets are nice - I'd love some retro seats with decent support!
Only thing I don't like is the lack of neck/head support. I do not want broken necks!

With out doubt Bride seats and Takata Harnesses FTW but find them, and how much ££££££ I'm loving jaz seats and the beard seats. I had cobra classics in my mini and am very tempted as they were stunning seats. Don't know about Bride stuff, but generally Taki's who ship to the UK SRB power Who are UK based, but drop ship direct There was someone else in South wales that was importing used J performance parts (ex mag test bits), but I can't find his web site. He was a honda tuner/modifier too. Between those three most J things can be found.

Its a shame, you could have had my corbeau corduroy bucket seats, they were so 70's that they made small children cry, and my friend matt who is afraid of corduroy.
Yeah as for the J look it has got to be the Bride fade out buckets, super cool

You could probably get away with a satin engine bay as many cars had this from the factory, but as you're intending to do an engine swap, a body colour engine bay wouldn't be much extra effort, & IMHO would be better, especially should you wish to ever sell the car.

awww man, i would of loved corduroy bucket seats!!! would have gone with my door cards so well!!! why not go for 70s fast road... my interior is so 70s it makes your eyes water! cord door cards, lots of fake leather, 3 point harnesses, tan seats (stolen from a scimitar), 10" muntney wheel, and a digital TIM tach - but thats more 80s.l... i retrimmed the lot, i pulled it all out except the dash, which i will do, oneday.

I`ve got an Astrali wheel cheap if you want it ? Looks like that second Mountney and I have the Padded centre for it too ;D Interior..... period 70`s is satin Black to kill reflection with White under body and wheelarches to show any cracks ;D What you really need are the Leather/Vinyl corbeau buckets with the eyelets for cooling ;D ;D My Godfather had one in his Mini super saloon very very cool Smiths Gauges and Aicraft instrument Pea lights for illumination along with lots of chrome toggle switches and Dymo Markings ;D Oh and it has to be Black crackle finish on additional Dash/switch panels FTW I am leaning towards Touring car Style Gunmetal Interior and engine bay on the Kadett
