Just a quickie
This hasnt gone away or been put on hold, I have actually been using it for work ;D
Bit noisy and slow on the motorway but generally pretty good fun
Been doing some engine stuff this week, ready to mount it, all the fiddly stuff that takes forever I wanted to get out of the way so I don't end up trying to do it when the engine is ready to go in.
The new Exhaust Flange is on the CNC at work ;D
Ready to mate up with this:
Honda S2000 stainless Manifold ;D
Found some stainless flanges and tube ends at work that mate up with the collector too ;D
Also got the new bellhousing and clutch to mate the 1600se with a Type 9
Got the water outlet/coil mount from the back of the head modified.
Needed to win as much space here as possible to save cutting the bulkhead so I took off the coil mountings and turned the main outlet through 90deg, also blanked off the Temp sensor Mtg and pulled the heater outlet as far back as possible
I have got a 4x4 Cossie oil filter mounting, to relocate the filter as this is where the supercharger needs to go
Got all that cleaned up, but still need to shorten the mounting "Bolt" as on the cossie it has a Modine cooler and I want as much space as possible for the supercharger.
The mountings will hopefully get done next week, Engine RH and Engine LH combining the supercharger mountings too
The most important job..... last weekend, finally got rid of those Bloody Tan doorcards
One can of Foliatec later and they are all Black ;D
The Quick rack is ordered so need to strip my spare rack in readiness, and I should get all the bushes I need to make the 4 link bars for the Piazza Axle next week.
The Turrets are being done next week by Gary from Retro Motorsports to get the dampers vertical and when the Piazza axle goes in, they will be replaced with Coilovers ;D
DTA ECU is on the way too so I need to get the wiring loom done for that too
Will update some more over the weekend hopefully the weather will be a bit more conducive to working on cars.... last weekend everytime I got all the gear outside it Chucked it down
Cheers
