The white one is going to be crushed i think, its structurally buggered, and cosmetically buggered. I'm planning on chopping bits out to strengthen the blue shell, bits of floor pan where the cage is going and harnesses. Taking a lot of the suspension off aswell, and the rad system, lights, engine, seats, and the turbo system!
Itll be a shame to see it go, but there is a time and a place, and that car has had it!

Really great shots. Is that a UFO taking off over your roof in the second one?

Cool pictures, when the bodywork on the Imp's done (coming on slowly, I'll get some pictures when I've made good progress) I must get some decent impressive pictures of it. Won't look like those ones though, for two main reasons, 1- My Imp is extremely unlikely to look that pretty, ever, although I am looking to give it a sort of used and abused, hard-as-nails rally slag look so it's alright 2- I am, without a doubt, the most inept photographer in the entire world going by past experience. There are Amazonian tribes largely untouched by civilisation who have mastered digital cameras better than I have, and they're probably better at doing bodywork than me too. ;D ;D Loving your motor though, keep up the good work.

Cool pics! What camera did you use to take them? I took some pictures of Scimitar when it was dark and misty last November, but would like to take some more similar to yours . I like the car lights blurring past. How did you get that effect? Heres a couple of my attempts

Well i used my well abused panasonic DMC-FZ10. Its nearly had it after being taken to fraser island thats made entirely from sand, so was my camera afterwards! Its a few years old and so only 2MP, gotta upgrade soon. It has a Leica lens so that really counts for something, not sure what though I took the photos without a tripod, some of the photos i used a steady object to rest either me or the camera on. They were taken on a long exposure with a flash, the flash ensures a nice sharp image of the non moving objects, and the long exopsure captured the moving car lights. Here are a couple a little larger. cheers J

Compo's on an IMP.... Gives it that ' i look standard, but do you wanna play' look. Wish i still had my maroon '66 Chamois complete with Janspeed manifold & pea-shooter. Not esp. fast, but sounded great and was admired by all........ ;(
