hardly any of those have survived intact you know, will be a shame to see it modded, they were shocking for rust ands that looks mint. Ah well. And your gonna struggle to lower it properly, unless you just depressurise the hydrolastic (its fluid suspension boys)

Apart from the suspension part, as it's Hydragas, the later evolution of Hydrolastic. Which uses Nitrogen gas instead of fluid. It might be 'only a Metro', but there ain't many good ones left out there. But if you're really dead set on dropping it, make sure you do it properly or it'll handle like a greasy pig on ice. Its only got 33,000 miles on the clock aswell Looking at it, I can believe it! If you mod it, make it reversible because really that's one very special little Metro you two have got your mitts on, definitely a proper classic car in the making and quite exceptional.

brian Damaged, you sure on the hydrogas? I broke a couple of these early metros back in the day and they both had green fluid in the suspension, not gas? Anyways, no silly spoilers or bodykits, adn yes, the handling turns to kack of the suspension isnt properly pressurised (I know from experience!)

Great looking metero! Very clean too! Deffo hydrogas, all metros were. The units on all four corners hold the gas, the pipes that connect the units together hold the fluid.

Hydragas is so called because the displacers contain gas and a liquid. It's the combination that provides the springing/damping. I started this thread and was prepared to keep an open mind, but the light mods just look awful. Lowered yet looking relatively standard would be win.
What sort of money would you be after to sell it though? It's really clean and very rare, as has been said.
