Well it's certainly a lot better than some of the kits I've seen

Not especially keen on the Daytona (graphics & stick-on door moulding do it no favours), but liking the Superbird.

If I'm honest, I don't find these new Challengers particularly attractive and this kit doesn't really improve things much for me in that respect. Who'da thunk it - rmad and I agree on something. The gold one is, dare I say it, a bit Barry... Anyway, wouldn't a Daytona kit be appropriate on a new Charger? Oh yeah, four doors. Still worth a post though.

Amazo, we also agree on how cool your Street Machine banner and signature are.

mixed feelings. I like the way they flow, but theres some "stick on tat" element to both, and I can't help but feel that they remind me too much of the Pixar movie Cars... Ditto with the cooooooool sig & 'tar for Amazo.

I like the superbird front end and I like the wheels on both. They still don't come closer to the real jobbies though tbf! They haven't got the length to pull it off like the old ones imo (At least the old ones look longer?)

I think its a bit meh, mainly because I think if you are going to do something like this, it would be nicer to do a modern take on it. What I mean is, the aerodynamic look of the original was very "of the time" where as this just looks like a total copy and paste job, not a development of the theme (stick the back to the floor with downforce and cut through the air).
I think I might be explaining myself badly :S

Porsche 924 - gone Citroen Saxo VTR - not very retro but I loved it - now gone... MK4 Golf GTi 1.8T - gone but hardly remembered... Mini Cooper S R53 - gone BMW 125d Coupe - gone (mostly sideways)
Ford Focus RS Mk1 - hello low MPGs and "wanna race me" at every set of lights... 1973 BMW 2002 - Twin 40's, 284 Cam, Revolutions, E21 Recaros + more Porsche Cayman 987 3.4S - here and due to cost me more money than I have

Everyone's admiring your sig' Amazo (myself included)........ I'm thinkin' I'm detecting the spirit of 'Glasnost' in this thread! As for the body kits.... well I disagree with rmad as I love the new Challenger but..... agree with rmad regarding the body kits. The original Challenger was never offered as a Superbird or a Daytona version so..... not sure what they are thinkin' there. Even if it had been, I agree with Jon that it would have made more sense to go for a more "modern take" on the theme as he said ^^ . Something that complemented the new restyled Challenger look, rather than an exact copy of the original.

The blue one I like. But would much rather have a proper old one. Only problem is due to size it might not fit in my garage.

As for the new one, mmmmm, I just thought 'Cars' I had a very similar thought, but I suspect that's the very intention, see Mr. The King: I agree too, that "Daytona" is an utter pig.

I might just being picky
The Original Dodge Daytona was based on a 69 Charger not Challenger
Also the blue Challenger in the style of a 1970 Plymouth Superbird - the Original Superbird was built from a Road Runner/Belvedere.
Odd kit ethos
