it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Some beauties in here that's for sure, love the gold with brown vinyl combo.
Stiff that is an awesome selection, those were the kind of custom jobs I was looking for but couldn't find, nice one.

I used to have a MKV estate. It was 2.0L GL flavour and incredibly sound. It needed new void bushes (don't they all!) Only sold it because it wasn't really 'me' so a Capri was bought instead! Chris Great picture!!! Rajani's wonderful world of tat. Gives me a great fillup visiting the place. How can so much tat be accumulated in one place. I have to go and visit again soon.... Hmmm retro rides meet in the carpark anyone? Keep the pictures coming gents I will have to see if I can find pics of the 3 I have had over the years....

I was in a petrol station today and pulled up next to a MkV (or rather, Cortina '80' ) that was filling up next to me. I chatted to the owner while we fuelled - the car was seemingly rust free with perfect paint and although he had a ladder and some tools inside (covered seats) it still had the plastic over the door trims. As we chatted the story unfolded - he bought the car new and then went overseas for about 17 years while it just sat in the garage because his wife didn't like driving it. The car was a Ghia and had just 40,000 miles. Did I offer my number if it ever came up for sale? Yes. Was there already a queue of potential buyers? Oh yes.
