That picture in combination with the title is just pushing out the boat a bit too far - even if it wasn´t intended to offend. We have to be very careful with stuff like this  Pic deleted, the rest is great, although the title is substandard  |

Picture of kid + Car = spread of pedos? If this is what the world has come to I want no part of it. If this is the day people can't take pictures of their kids with their cars without being accused of being pedophiles then that is horrendous.. put down the Daily Mail folks, the world is not a bad place.
Whats more... by implication you are saying that the person that took that photo intended to use it to spread info about his pedo activities... surely that is terrifying legal ground.
Maybe a thread title change would have been a good idea. But hey, its the age of fear, lets jump to the most ridiculous conclusion because you know,... terrorist/pedophiles (delete as applicable).

let's not whine about it too much..
title + pic was a combination that some couldn't see as something appropriate.. noone was talking about pedos..
change one of both and problem is sorted, or leave as is and don't be offended by it because that wasn't the intention..

Those 'Vettes look seriously cool! Loving the bubble hardtop. The I cant decide wether I love or hate that A. I think just 5degress less 'broken-backed', and it would have been perfect. possibly slightly bigger/beefer rear rims and rubber too. I agree about the chassis kink. However the black painted stock wires really make it for me, as it then becomes all about the new stance and proportions compared to those of the original car. |

Along with posts by JS, A5 (now deleted), and OB, I saw a potentially distasteful connection between a thread entitled "Boner Inducement" and a photograph of a minor child. Both OB and myself, for example, have posted pics of our children and cars here, so the issue wasn't anything to do with photographs of children per se. Nor was there any issue about sexual repression. We've been treated to stuff like Penski's handjive avatars, "I need a tissue" comments, and various other funny orgasmic references for years. My sole reaction as a reactionary idiot was one of suggestion that the OP give some thought to a revision. No hands were on hips. No aspersions cast. No accusations made. I simply ask, if that was your daughter, sister, niece, would you be OK or not OK seeing it used on a forum under the title "Boner Inducement"? I think our intentions were to prod this away from any hurt feelings or outrage by the child, her parents, or family and friends. Or a misunderstanding by the public at large. It was not to condemn anyone. I made no such condemnation. The intention was to protect the reputation of R-R. But I remain your friend, and certainly am an idiot, with all that idiocy implies and entails. I cop a plea to that for sure. ;D |

Opel GT- Stunning. What i cant fathom is why they werent more succesful? They were crackin looking and efficient little cars... Can someone enlighten as to the why there is such a rarity of them?
