Picture of kid + Car = spread of pedos? If this is what the world has come to I want no part of it. If this is the day people can't take pictures of their kids with their cars without being accused of being pedophiles then that is horrendous.. put down the Daily Mail folks, the world is not a bad place.
Whats more... by implication you are saying that the person that took that photo intended to use it to spread info about his pedo activities... surely that is terrifying legal ground.

I apologize to you and the forum, David. Along with posts by JS, A5 (now deleted), and OB, I saw a potentially distasteful connection between a thread entitled "Boner Inducement" and a photograph of a minor child.
Both OB and myself, for example, have posted pics of our children and cars here, so the issue wasn't anything to do with photographs of children per se.
Nor was there any issue about sexual repression. We've been treated to stuff like Penski's handjive avatars, "I need a tissue" comments, and various other funny orgasmic references for years.
My sole reaction as a reactionary idiot was one of suggestion that the OP give some thought to a revision. No hands were on hips. No aspersions cast. No accusations made.
I simply ask, if that was your daughter, sister, niece, would you be OK or not OK seeing it used on a forum under the title "Boner Inducement"?
I think our intentions were to prod this away from any hurt feelings or outrage by the child, her parents, or family and friends. Or a misunderstanding by the public at large. It was not to condemn anyone. I made no such condemnation.

I'm sorry HoTWire, but if you can't see that it was genuine concern rather than reactionary vitriol then there's something seriously wrong. This comment and the bitter sarcasm of the "XXXX of the month" thread is nothing short of childish. And I don't care if you don't like me saying it.
