just found your site from a thread on the anglia CA18 turbo. thought id give you some info on one of my cars Cortina MK1 4 door 375 rear wheel horsepower at last dyno tune in mid 2005 1.8 litre turbo 4 cylinder 5 speed 9 inch LSD

as for fitting the engine ...pretty straight forward only really engine mounts to fabricate along with gearbox crossmember the sump of this engine is the same as a normal 1500 in the front. making it very easy no sump or crossmember mods needed we have fitted SR20 turbos as well to mk1 cortinas as well as a ca18 turbo to a mk1 escort....much more work there. certainly can help with more pics there is much more on my website but iw ill select a few to post

i must say its refreshing to find words of encouragment thanks for that and all the nice comments have kept all the orignal lines of a mk1 cortina as well as the interior
