Ciao Boys...
Last nite I dumped my ass down in front of the television, it snowed like crazy and after pushing snow around with the tractor I did not feel like going out in the shop. I watched an episode of Inspector Lynley where he drove around in a burgundy semi sports sedan, looked real cool and it sounded like a V8, what was it???
I guess this is an easy one for you guys.....

And one of my faves too. A true gentleman's express...
You don't need to Hot Rod one - they are a hot rod. Just with acres of fine timber, swathes of the best leather and cottrels of Wilton carpet. Everything bespoke and no two are alike.
A good friend has two... he likes to say he has a nice pair of Bristols ;D

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

They're still the best of the Euro-American hybrids (apart from Facels) and still so cool because no-one knows what they are. They must be good as no premier-div (no pun intended) footballer has one....

Yes - quite narrow, handle well and subtle enough to get a move on in....

To me the best euro-american hybrids are the Iso rivolta and the Gordon-Keeble. Best described as "gentleman's express'. Just don't mention fuel costs.

Don't forget the Jensen Interceptor. British car with a 7.2 Chrysler V8, lovely. My mates dad had one when we were growing up (well, getting older) it was brilliant

Some of the later Bristols had 383ci (6.4 litres) and 440ci (7.2 litres)m Chrysler big blocks. Shame they never made them with the 426ci Hemi !!
