That MG thing still wouldn't be worth more than the cost of a full-on nut & bolt resto though. On the other hand... if it's still associated with that number plate, what a investment it could be... that plate must be £10k or so....

Glad you all like them ;D I'm trying to get a price out of the fella for the datsun and the MG........... do those MG's have an ash frame? What are they typically worth? (assuming that isnt its origional plate, although ive no reason to) What do you think the Datsun is worth....... i think it is pretty rotten but complete Think i can safely say the bin lorry is free to collector ;D I'll let you know what i find out so if anyone is interested in making an offer they can

Judging from the shape of the front wings and that it's a saloon, the MG is an SA, VA or WA & dates from the late '30s. SA is a 2.0, VA a 1.5 and WA a 2.6. I can't give you a value, but I'd be very surprised if a perfect one fetched more than £15K - obviously, a tourer or drophead would be worth more.
I don't rate them at all (uses Morris / Wolseley running gear), and the contemporary Riley (12/4 or 16/4) is reputedly a vastly superior car and also VSCC eligible.

That Minor is an Austin Minor, not a Morris and is therefore quite a find!

Minor pickup could be made into something a bit special with a bit of effort. That RS Turbo shell looks a bit clean and straight, did it meet it's end legaly or had it been 'borrowed' from the last owner? (not implying that the present custodian nicked it). Alternatively, maybe those 'Bailey motorsport' goodies proved too much for the knackered smokey old CVH!

The bin lorry isn't a Bedford at all, it looks to me like a Karrier Commando, as Richy says, which is even cooler! Too bad it's probably f*cked, they didn't keep the rust away at the best of times, and that one seems to be under a tree. I almost bought a 60s Karrier Bantam a while back, but I had no money and nowhere to keep it at the time, and it was utterly f*cked unfortunately.

Nice!
Is the 280ZX manual or auto? Just trying to tot up what iron cross alloys, L28E, front struts etc would be worth. Doubt car itself worth saving, still enough decent ones on eBay for not much money.
Unusual to see one without the targa top. Not sure that the silver is original, without looking at a brochure it looks a bit DIY.

Smiler- Yep the RST is legit, it was just particually rotten (although the pics do not show it) Silvermachine: Since that pic the RS has been stripped even further, as it was bieng re-shelled into a cleaner XR3i body so no spoilers to be had I'm afraid. Spottedlaurel: in not sure weather the dat is manual or auto, but I'm awaiting details Impressed with the knowledge displayed here on RR, do you think any of these are worth saving? I don't think hes interested in parting any of them out

I'll be putting up some pics of a truly tragic scene down here soon - including a Borgward Isabella coupe that's festering alongside a Mark Four Zody.
