You make your life less easy by starting with a Mopar - torsion bar front and leaf rear!
I wonder, did this car come from down Cornwall way? I made an attempt to go buy a car just like this but it sold before I could get down there to see it. It would be about 12 years ago.

But please ask Santa for a new camera. Yes I know A lot of the pics are from an old camera phone which has now been taken outside and shot. You make your life less easy by starting with a Mopar - torsion bar front and leaf rear! To be quite honest, if I was starting again I would have approached it in a completely different way or maybe even sold it and got a full chassis car instead. I wonder, did this car come from down Cornwall way? I made an attempt to go buy a car just like this but it sold before I could get down there to see it. It would be about 12 years ago. It is probably the same car, I got it from a bloke in bristol and it had been in that neck of the woods since it landed on Portsmouth dock in 1990

I always wonder what happens to some of the old cars I missed or passed. Many are distinctive enough for me to recognise them when they resurface.

what needs done on the body? looks reasonably tidy in the pics! Bad bits are..... Bottom corner of N/S wing......rotten/gone Top of O/S door..............ripe O/S and N/S bulkhead has perforation and rot O/S floor section under rear seat is rotten (water trap) The channel and lip around the boot opening has some rot and there is various little bits of tin worm around widow trims etc. The paint is coming off in large flakes and I recon you'd cut yourself if you rubbed your hand across the bonnet! It's mostly the flat surfaces bonnet, boot, roof that look bad, the sides still look ok. Structuraly it's pretty sound, cosmeticaly it's tatty up-close
