Glad to hear you're ok! Ouch indeed..... I stopped cycling around London after I was hit for the third time (car turning without looking or indicating as I was level with it - I went over the roof....) as the novelty value was wearing very thin. However, I was fortunate enough to be unharmed on all those occasions. If we're sharing blood pics darn- I haven't got any photos of my scars from an operation back in June ;D

Penski. Good for you. Sounds like a rough accident but when your mad adrenalin and emotions take over! what happened to the guy, was he left at the side of the road like road kill? wasnt going to add any more 2p worth, but... but got a bee in my bonnet yesterday. Since i duffed my arm with a tired mistake last week on my bmx. i have been walking to work, been on bike 3 times now a bit better but riding like an old crooner, but its chilled my agro bike attitude. so i'm peacefully and patiently cruising back yesterday after dinner within the line on the cycle lane doing no arm to anyone. A couple of local rednecks drive past in a transit size tow truck and beep, i didnt know em, before i could get the finger out, the scally in passenger seat was hanging out wailing obcenities at me. i was so annoyed i stood up, balls to the pain and caught up an shouted at em loud to 'get a life' with few swear words for good measure. they looked like a set of evil fookers so i didnt hang around and do a penski, there was 2 of em, and i wasnt that angry, and was late for work. that launched a short lived chase, they went down a dead end looking for me, i was too nimble on the bmx, i mean have the never seen ET? Losers!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Sounds like the bike needs a bit of fettling but at least you're alright, looking at the pics I bet your arm hurt but it shouldn't be anything serious I would think. (So no skidging off school with a sore arm, nae luck mate! ;D)

You're obviously a far more conscientous student than I was at that age then, any opportunity for a good skidge and I took it, of course I then failed Higher Grades in 2 different subjects... ;D

There's a difference between being clever and having common sense.
I lack the latter...And tend to immediately think of the most convulated way to do anything.
