With winter approaching I'm mindful of keeping my car's underbody as clean as possible. Can anyone point me towards a place in or within an hours drive of London that offers underbody cleaning? If not, perhaps just a place where I can get the car up and use my own pressure blaster.
Thanks.

Best thibng to do is when its dry, lash it with as much Waxoil (or similar) as you can them enjoy winter without worrying your car is rotting away!
ps who is using their retro ride over winter and who is being a tart and putting it away!??

Neither are road-worthy and i can't drive, but normally the rapid goes away i don't pay the taxes or anything tho, so not my choice.

If I can replace the rear window seal and get the sills done in time, my mk1 Escort will be out for christmas! ;D
I won't be using it for work though - too many muppets about, and it's a twisty back-road type journey.
Out with the Waxoyl!!

Waxoyl is a given, naturally. curse word putting the cars away for winter and driving a boring one. There must be somewhere out there that can help me...

I thought you meant something like this....

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Good question, Well done that member ! All my vehicles will be in regular use all over the winter as they are ever year. It annoys me these people who drivel on about how wounderful there old car is yet when it comes to every day use they prefer there nice under 2 year old bland-wagon! The Hypocrites

My 1303 is going away for the winter, not sure if I'm a tart though as I'll be using the vespa instead.
