...by the latest issue of 'Classics Monthly'
I bought a copy on saturday to fill the void between PPC and Retro publication dates, mostly out of curiousity to read Taity's article.
I was impressed to find that Adam's bit was very well written and while detailed was a very good read.
There were also some shockingly good features elsewhere too.... a report on the Spa VW show showed that these guys are in touch with the VW / Custom end of the scene, and there was also an excellent review of a whole raft of modified Volvo 'Amazon's'.
In short the editorial content seems to have improved hugely since the last time I read the mag about six months ago... yes there's still a fair bit of advertiser-pleasing buffer machinery, but this was balanced out by some good stuff on the modified & retro scene.
It was like reading Practicall Crassics from the Holman days...
Anyone else have an opinion on this?
