And I quote...
Road racing replica of the famous Pontiac Trans-Am Gray Ghost was built to compete in vintage road racing. Extensively developed over the past 7 years to handle, stop, and go with just about anything at the track. It has won its class and over-all wins at Savannah, and VIR in VDCA, SVRA, and Gold Cup events.
The car comes with a trailer load of spare parts, including a fresh motor, a never used new transmission, two sets of American Mag wheels, and a spare limited slip differential. . Other spares include a set of rain tires, Tilton Clutch parts, radiator, original rechromed bumpers, front sway bars, MSD coil and control box, spare calipers, rotors, and pads, and many more spares (trailer not included !) .
Both motors were built and dynoed by Golden Shamrock in Winston-Salem NC, who also do engine work for Chip Ganassi. There is a 3 point on board fire system, new 15 gallon fuel cell, a fresh air helmet blower, four wheel disk brakes with cool air ducting, a custom aluminum radiator and electric fan. The front Carrera QA1 shocks are dual adjustable, the rears are single.
This car is a crowd favorite, on the track, and in the paddock. We are reluctantly looking for a new driver/owner so we can pursue another race car project. The current owner/driver is a licensed welder who has spent many hours of engineering, fabrication, and development to make this car safe, and reliable. If desired, track support is available for the new owner. Not cheap, but offered at far less than the dollars invested. Call the owner for more details and pictures.
