A subject close to my heart, but I can't help notice that the forthcoming Citroen C6 similarity to the 60's BMC 1800 Pininfarina. BMC/BL/Rover told Pininfarina they didn't want their design as a replacement for their 1800/2200 Land crab models, so Citroen used their designs for the GS and CX instead....and they're still using the design by the looks of it. Just thought I'd let you know my thoughts.....

That new citroen is ugly as sin and will depreciate like a lead weight in a pond.
I wish I had a company car allowance so I could get one.... ;D

Both the C5 and the new C6 make me want to reach for the sick bucket as I find the styling to be extremely offensive. IMHO Citroen haven't produced a decent looking car since the XM and Zantia. Peugeot have also lost the plot since the 406.

I think the C6 looks good because it looks very much like a CX !
I don't really know what kind of person would prefer a C6 to a German luxury car... But I know that in a few years time I will be able to afford one. French car depreciation is a very good thing, if you buy them second hand ;-)
BTW, I agree that the C5 looks horrible... And it drives horribly, too.

problem with new cars is you have to look a bit different to stand out - which that citroen certainly does. however as Renault will tell you, if you go too 'different' it all goes a bit Vel Satis and you sell curse word all cars.
