Hi there Guys! Well the Golf is in need of some much needed care and attention, and some Engine “Upgrades” so I needed a new ride to get about in and attend shows this summer! So I needed something that would be good on the Motorway and that several of my chums and several cases of beer would fit into! That’s where this Beige Vision of Beauty comes in! This has belonged to my mates dad for about 5 years, and I have lusted after its beige charms for most of that time, and due to lack of use he decided to let it go to me of all people!!!! A deal was done and I bought it for less than the cost of the clutch it had last year, and I'm paying for it in instalments, lol (thanks again Mr Robinson!) Have some Pictures! Plans at the Moment are just to drive it, get it through the MOT at the end of this minth (I really cant see it needing anything, its a little minter!) them maybe some little upgrades and bolt of bits and bobs, it needs a few little bits of paint, maybe some bigger wheels? oh and I wnt some roof bars and a bike rack! Let me know what you think! Cheers!! ;D

look on ebay and ebay.de for the lorinsers, they often come up, unfortunately often they aren't cheap. as for the door car removal I'm in the same boat, my drivers window has packed up with the motor still working, and i cant work out how to get the card off without breaking anything. i think theres a screw behind the black trim at the top of the door handle, after that I'm stumped.

Thats what i thought, that handel trim is the key I'm sure, i spoke to the guy i got the car from earlier and he sead it did the exact same thing a few months ago, one of the arms came adrift in the door, so i think I'm gonna go have a chat with the guy that did the job for him and see how he did it! I really need some deep dish action though, with the body colour centers!

To get the door trim off lever out the black plastic trim around the internal door release lever and undo the bolt behind it. Slide the door release lever forwards and free it from the door card and unhook the rod on the back of it. Undo the black plastic trim around the latch on the back edge of the door. Now you can get the door panel off by sliding it upwards to unhook the clips.
