Okay, you have your retro motor. You take it off the road and turn it into a competition car purely for track/drag/rally/whatever work. This means you need something to tow it with. What do you get? Must be of a similar age and the same make as your car. To kick it off: Car: HS-look '82 Chevette Saloon (which is, by this point, running a Vauxhall CE20LET with big FMIC and Emerald M3D ) Barge: '83 Cavalier mkII Estate, 1700cc VX/Isuzu Diesel, slammed at the front, rolling on fed-spec VX Steels, Painted in Olive Drab and with the load-bay side windows panelled over. *n

now that sounds really bad Rmad, the hiace (has to be brown with gold 13x8) and the cressidia.
See mine would have to be the quad rotor 787b replica on the trailor. And some kind of sleeping camper, mabe a hiace or one of those nissan caravans but with modern direct injection diesel motor and full mazda sport livery. MMMMmmmmmmmm start the rotary, brapbrapbrapbrapBROOOOAAAAWWWWPPPPbrapbrapbrap

My pretend, one day hopefully, engine building team is; and my Shuv tow car would have to be a Bedford CF Shlammed to the floor (which isnt really any good on a tow car) With 13 x 9" compo cx split rims, every badge, handle and bit of trim shaved smoothed and removed running whatever the biggest new Vauxhall diesel engine is (3.2 v6?)

Funny you should mention this as i have just come up with the cunning plan for myself to use one of my other cars as a tow car!!! eventually when i buid it up after a couple of other projects, GTM Coupe on slicks ready for the trackday/drag event with far too much power sitting on brian james trailer, with my 40K mile Mk1 Triumph Vitesse White slammed on airbags, smoked windows, dark silver 15 inch CXR rims sorted rear suspension,an appropiate engine swap and tool kit in the boot,,the planning has began just need time and money i cant wait WEST
