Hi, I fit both rear wheels and lower it down to the ground. It will be making a trip to Gary's house (aka Mini the Kid) during my house extension build. I will be carrying on working on my ali doors and other stuff I can work with in my sheds. But here are 2 photos! From front. From back... std wheels with 145 tyre looks so wrong! Cheers Atchi

Hi, Today, my Mini has left me again for the House extension project phase3! This is on it's way to Gary aka "Mini the Kid''s house. I was following it behind and my suspension looks very stiff and it hardly moved! My next step is to make radius arms with g13B disc brakes for the rear. My back end looks so wrong with steel wheels with 145/12. My front looks so mean so I have to carry all the way from front to the back! Cheers Atchi

OK people,
I got my Mini back home. I have to say thanks to Gary for keeping it until now, Beefy & Jimmy for help getting it back to my house safely.
I shall start by drying it! then rust treatment. This winter snow was bit more than my sheet could take but it was better condition than I expected!
Cheers Atch

Hi Peeps! I started back on it. My tools are everywhere and I don't know where is my spares are but... I have now put my Mini back on stands! Then you can see water damage... just surface rust I hope! I got industrial shelves. 1 in my shed and this one in my garage! These bad boys can take 300kg per shelf! I have to bring my tool cabinets from shed to my garage then tidy up a little.... Well, start is start. Cheers Atchi

Hi, It's been a while for me to update! Today, Imanaged to spend more than 2 hrs in my garage. I thought I should start on wiring and what will be the best place to start other than a custom board from CBS! I also rust proofed some of the inside after last year's water damage. I have painted black for now. Cheers Atchi

Awesome work Atchi.
I'm glad to see you're still cracking on with the work. I honestly believe you deserve a medal for managing to get this far, the engineering is astounding.
Keep up the good work.

Hi, Thank for that Ian, very kind of you. I was in my garage doing wiring today. After 2 hours, I managed to un-tangled and starting to make sense of What I got! I hope all of wires are in good condition as I last saw 4 years ago! Cheers Atchi

Hi, I'm still working on wiring harness but I have to assemble my gearbox with new diff ratio. I got 3.78:1 instead of 4.1:1 of Gti ratio. I need to assemble this gearbox and fit it into my engine bay so that I can start up my engine..... Anyway, I managed to find bit of extra I always wanted to have in my garage! As you can see, it is a table lift and it goes up almost 3' (875mm)! I shall get on with my gearbox... Cheers Atchi

Atmo V8 Power . No slicks , No gas + No bits missing . Doing it in style. Austin A35van, very different------- but still doing it in style, going to be a funmoble

Hi v8ian,
This table I got is 1500Kg 1mx1.2m and 100mm thick. The table top is solid and I will need to make a spacer between table and body to work on my exhaust. I have enough steel sections to make such frame so I can make space under the car on this table. I think bike one is not heavy duty enough to lift a car. These days small hatch weigh more than 1 tonn!
Cheers Atchi

This is the sort of thing I was thinking about, 1000lb lift, my car with full running gear is 370kg which is 813lbs so the weight of my little Austin hopefully will be about 325kg fully wet,

Hi, So I did managed to get a gearbox rebuilt with 3.78:1 diff ratio counter shaft. This photo shows what shaft is looks like. The right one is 4.1:1 standard Gti and the one in the gearbox is 3.78:1 with all of gears fitted. Only problem was that part of spline was longer that Gti setup. So I have sent it to get it machined to my trusted machinist. One month later, I got it back as he is very good machinist. He only does cash job when he has spare time. I managed to pick up machined shaft yesterday. It is ready for me to fit! I hope I can work on my car this weekend as I will be away on a business trip next week to Japan... Cheers Atchi

Hi, I managed to work on my car for a but today. I dug out my head lights and fit them so that I know what I need to do for wirings. Yes it is HID system and it will be in P700 copy. This is what it looks like. It has HID already fitted and just checking to see where I can fit controller and so on. Cheers Atchi

Hi, So I have managed to rebuild a gearbox with 3.78:1 ratio now. While I got gearbox out, I may as well mod my subframe a little as I wanted to change few points. I made mods for diff clearance and under an oil pan mod. I think it's good job that G13B is light, I just man handled engine out of there myself! All I need to do is now fit a gearbox with LSD my engine. It is bit heavy for me to carry with gearbox so I might ask my friend to come and help or use my engine crane. Cheers Atchi

I will be paiting it winkle effect paint black or powder coating it. I hope it works OK and I will be adding 3 more gauges. I think Fuel and Amp will be good but not sure 30amp gauge will do the job or not. Cheers Atchi
