nuts! I recently bought a pair of Keystone Klassics in a Ford fit PCD. I assumed that these would be 5x4.5" which would be a fit option for my Plymouth Fury as well as maybe any larger J cars I might own in the near future. I was looking at them at the weekend, and thought, Hmmm... they don't LOOK like 4.5" at all, so I thought maybe they were 5" PCD as some of the Galaxies, Mercuries and Lincolns are. And a faded sticker on one says "fitment=Ford Thunderbird" and that 5x5" PCD is common to Buick (check) and Oldsmobile (check) as well as Cadillac, oh, right. Nope. They are sodding 5x5.5" Fits 1948-1969 Ford pickups and 1955-1956 Thunderbird. I suppose an inch is a bit much to expect wobble nuts to take out... So... up in the attic they go. I suppose I might own a F100 one day. Yes. No.

I love the way that this story doesn't end "...So they're back up for sale". As if that would be admitting defeat in some way. I salute your hoarding abilities sir

I've been tidying the attic this weekend. Photos later maybe. I'm off to the chiropractor later though, and i jest not. If you love your tat - feel the pain for it! Some of those things are heavy. But at least all in the the same place now.
Mostly.

Hey! You just need a pair of appropriate hubs and you could bolt these to the side of the shed instead of some slot mags!

In Montana. I'm sure there is a joke somewhere about parking ones pink Rambler in Ms Montana. But xbollox would get jealous. Mind you $600. How bad can it be? EDIT: Renner 10 in the background also.

Keystones are lovely - very cool design. Out of interest, what wheels do you have already? My sets of Mamba, Cosmic and Ansen Sprints pale into insignificance next to your hoard! Btw, any 15" regular US Ford pcd wheels that are surplus to requirements might be of interest to myself or the other Amazon boys ;D

its a long time ago now but i seem to rmember fitting the wheels off my fairmont onto my granada and my old merc, does that sound possible? have any yank fords got the same stud pattern as mercedes? if they do it might make it easier to find some wide 15" steels for my coupe.
|
|
Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

They're close but not exact -
5x 114.3 ( 4 x 4.5") for the yank stuff 5x112 for the Granny & Merc
I had a passat with some slightly ill fitting wheels, turned out the previous owner had done the same things with J rims.

wobble bolts might be enough to take that discrepancy out.

traditional Jaguar is 5x4.75, thats the same as the bulk of Chevy stuff as well as A, G, X, F body GM cars from Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick as well as some B body.
Some of the more modern Jags have a 5x120mm or something pattern. Same as some Lincolns but not much else?

theres a load of these style of wheels available in unilug which may fit the Merc, although its usually 4.5" - 4.75" range which is too wide for you...
