just got a "new" one from my nan the other night, so I though i'd do some quick snaps of the few camera's that are about the house. add some pics of yours if you have any lets start with this little baggy here. was my grandads (dad's side), contains- an instamatic 25 moving on to the very early 80's a hanimex 35se. from the same snapper as the instamatic and the "new" one that I am definatley going to use- kodak six20 junior! seen you can get 35mm film converters, going to have to get one of them! I think i'm right in saying that 620 film doesn't have a long shelf life also where do you find anyone to develop it? 35mm at tesco value, LOL! needs the lens giving a good going over and its a bit dog eared, but I have no plan to sell just use for fun goes from f11 to f32 and has set shutter speeds of 1/100, 1/50, 1/25, bulb, and "t". I've got a new in box polaroid "button", complete with paper but no magicubes. anyone else got any film cams?

I love the look of that Kodak! I'm sure this thread has been done before, but oh well. Here is my quality 1950s West German bakelite effort I wish I knew how to use/develop 120 film

My dad has a very similar (possibly identical) Kodak at home; the bellows have split so he patched it with black insulating tape in about 1968 . Unsurprisingly it's come off now. All the pictures I've seen from it have an identical white patch where light has come through the split He also has an old Leica (I think?) that belonged to his dad; I think it was one of my grandad's few indulgences after he retired as I believe he quite enjoyed photography. I'll have to dig them out when I;m at home at Christmas.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Here's a few of mine...... A pre-war Nagel 120 rollfilm camera... Kodak Retina 11a 35mm camera. Metal construction, very heavy, this was a popular camera in its day, and takes very good pictures. Braun Paxette, a German 35mm SLR with a built-in selenium light meter. Very high tech for 1958! Polaroid instant film camera, with sonar autofocus. Rolleicord Vb twin lens reflex 120 rollfilm camera, early '60s. This, along with the more expensive Rollieflex model which had interchangeable lenses, was the staple rollfilm camera for professionals and news photographers in the 50s and 60s. Contax RTS2, 35mm SLR, early 80s. One of the most exclusive and expensive 35mm cameras of its time, it weighs a ton and the Carl Zeiss lens was probably the sharpest lens ever fitted to any 35mm camera. A beautifully engineered machine. A 1984 Minolta XD7 35mm SLR. Effectively my "daily driver" for most of my pictures. One of the most sophisticated auto exposure systems of its day, yet really easy to use. I've also got a Lubitel twin lens jobbie somewhere, a Lomo 35mm compact, and an old Yashica FX3 35mm SLR that's seen better days!

That Werra is a great design! Very cool. Bodie: I've just found a great source of manuals for old Kodaks, right back to the 1800's! It has your Six20 Junior listed Click

MASSIVE BUMP!!! back to the top, to add the photos I took in the easter holidays Dad's old Kodak: As I said, I don't know if it's useable, the bellows split many years ago, but it's still a very cool-looking bit of kit. And what's in here? My grandad's old camera, a Bencini Koroll II. From what I can gather, Bencini went on to make cameras for Boots the Chemists. Focus ring on the lens is sadly jammed solid, however I've read of similar happening on these cameras and it just needed taking apart, cleaning and re-greasing. I hope so, then maybe it would be ready to fill with... ...120 film and take some lovely retro photos? Worth a go And this one was my second camera, after a plastic "Snappy Snaps" one I got by collecting Shreddies box tops: As you can see, a Kodak Instamatic 76-X. Uses 126 film, which is no longer produced, although the cartridges can apparently be refilled with 35mm film in a darkroom. It's meant to take flash cubes, but I discovered that the mechanism was broken, which left me with a load of flash cubes and nothing to do with them but set them off by hand, or occasionally throw them into fires ;D

This probably isnt following the 'picture taking camera' tradition of this thread, but i have this video camera. i found it in a wardrobe, just after the keys where collected for my house (we went up the track to have a look around) and it was in a barn in a wardrobe that was falling apart, just as you see it in the pictures. the film is brand new and i only opened the box to have a look at it (it was in the camera's case.) something even more amazing is the fact that its got a pan america sticker on it, suggesting that it could have had something to do with the police and could have come from bermuda? anyway, pics. it's a wind up one too, managed to make it run .
