Well ebay has done it again. I have been forced into another purchase against my will ;D While having a quick perusal during my dinner break at cars for sale within a 50 mile area finishing yesterday I came across this Piazza turbo going for the princely sum of £1.70 with 8 hours left. Weighed up the cons (non runner, 10 cars already, wife wont be best pleased) against the pros (RWD, turbo, manual and if all else fails LSD for a chevette ) then thought sod it I`ll bid anyway. ;D Hopefully go to get it on saturday morning and pick it up. Then decide what to do once I get home

I found a clubs website in Japan the other day for modified Piazzas ,.. they were turning out some good cars... One was CA18DET powered,.. the rest had Huge turbos on them,.. I reckon they could become quite good fun,.. and in the future rare! Seeing as most people are breaking them for spares...

There pretty quick as standard with 150bhp and easy to get 180-200bhp out of a pretty much standard engine. Only thing is I don't really need another long term project. I already have three long termers plus a short term project in the Monza really just looking to repair the engine and see what else it needs. If the engines fubar`ed I will probably have to break it unless my conscience gets the better of me and I decide to endow it with XE power (No must stop thinking about that )

There's a good friday competition right there
Every member has a maximum of £2 to buy a retro ride off of ebay.
That should save a few old cars from bangering.
Then we can store them all round at NickB's
