you know how i love to help? good. you know i fairly much despise my job at times? good. you know i want you guys to get good stuff, and also help my company not be curse word? ok, with me so far. i'm gonna let you in on some clearance stuff you will want. I'm only posting now as I've bought it all myself and the guys in-store should be sorted by now (been a week lol) so now it's your chance! remember halfords professional tools have a lifetime no-quibble replacement warranty. links are ridiculously long so look them up on www.halfords.comanyway, check: 921106 - this is a plastic packet of 2 reversible quad ratchets. 8-19mm and bits. £10 457-630 you get this link because this is AWESOME. its a set of double ended ratchet spanners from 8-19mm, with bits to convert to bit drivers and socket drivers. I've bought 2 because we only had two left. They feel lovely and tbh I hate working without them now... £20 www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_162927_langId_-1_CarSelectorCatalogId__CarSelectorGroupId__varient__categoryId_76864_crumb_33958-76859-76867_parentcategoryrn_76864205005 - open and ratchet combination spanners in 7 sizes between 8-19 £20 not listed but get into store. 7 piece Imperial Flex head ratchet spanners £20 7 piece metric Flex head ratchet spanners £20 276980 - pound through screwdrivers 6pc for £15 also theres a range of draper and halfords stuff very cheap, like £1 for a tape measure, £3 for a long rod inspection mirror, £1/£3/£5 for various multidriver screwdriver sets... and a load of 1/4" drive sockets in little 3 or 4 packs for a quid each. still lots of those in-store. and don't forget you can reserve them on-line so they don't get bought befoe you get in and they have to find them for ya! anyway - sorry if it seems cheeky but i aint getting paid to do this. but take advantage why not kthnxbai folks take care now buh-byee

Theres alot of bikehut bits in clearence at the moment too if anyones interested. Mostly bmx stuff but theres a few good bits. I got a set of cateye lights, used to be £50 , i got them for £17.76 or something silly like that. Theres alot of new stuff coming in, ive just changed pretty much my whole department to make room for it all and half the stuff came off the shelves which all gets discounted

from experience you'll get the discount off the original price not the sale price so trying to use your trade card you'll end up making them more expensive!!
I bought the big set of flexi ratchet spanners when they were on special at £39.95.... trying to use my trade card made them £45!!!!

Hey, surprisingskoda, thanks for the links. That ratchet spanners are very tempting but I have doubts about your "no quibble" guarantee. I was behind a guy at Halfords last year who was returning his broken ratchet spanners and Halfords were saying the guarantee didn't cover the actual ratchet mechanism. The guy was getting pretty upset because he claimed they were "Halfords professional" and was told when he bought them that they had a full lifetime guarantee. He had a set of them and three were broken. They were sizes like 12 and 14mm. The manager came over and confirmed that they definitely weren't guaranteed. Guy left in a big rage. So is it true.....the ratchet itself isn't guaranteed?? (Even though at £20 I'd still buy them.) Al

we usually swap them over anyway, what we would usually do in that situation is take a new pack off the shelf, replace just the broken ones and fago (send back to head office) the pack off the shelf with the faulty spanners.
Thats what we do with all the professional range I think, although I'm not a parts person so not 100%

Thanks from us too, Nev and I grabbed a set of Pro ratchet spanners, not 'cheap' but less than half is a winner just what i wanted for christmas too. We even got comically served by Nevs sis.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Trade price isn't a discount as such, it's a separate price. It doesn't just knock a percentage off, hence why £2.49 lightbulbs cost 98p on trade and £33.99 timing lights cost £31.99. Actually, I should stock up on some of this stuff while it's cheap, thanks for the heads-up
