Title says it all really, on the hunt for a RWD estate(Volvo/Granada/Omega/Merc) with reasonable ticket and may be a hint of tax remaining to serve as daily driver with dog hauling capacity. Not too stressed about some work/problems but something that's currently useable(not basket cases, I've already got enough of those!!  ). Budget is £5-600 for this one and once I've shifted some of my later metal I'll be hunting a good scorpio/960 with a better budget but for now I'm looking for something in this price bracket or lower(fat chance I hear you cry!!). So what have you got and what's out there. Not averse to a bit of travel for right car/price. Cheers! |

Might have a Cherokee Jeep with 12 months ticket no tax tho, might be a bit far as well?
looking for 600 quid. Funnily enough,i got it from that side of the country about 2 years ago.

Sadly sir cool ride though it undoubtedly is, it's not quite what I'm looking for right now! Need something that'll drag a trailer about and haul a few people long distances when needed

It's "M"reg 4 Litre Petrol Hi Output Auto. 156k but full main dealer service. Full Leather, full electric pack, cruise control. Massive tow bar with double socket, roof rack and the all importent doggie guard. I'm only waiting for a manifold to be shipped in from the states, then awarded 12 months MOT from nice mr garage man. I know the engine puts ppl off but if you don't floor it 20 quid of petrol gets ya 80 miles.(but drag it away from the lights all the time, 1/2 it) . Will try and get some pix at the weekend If need be?

£500 - 600 should get you a very nice 4 cyl 7 or 9 series Volvo estate. 2.3 non turbo is perfectly decent but 2.0 non turbo is underpowered. Very rust resistant, especially compared to the others you've mentioned & capable of intergalactic mileage with ease. There are loads on eBay |

Finally got something sorted, granted it's the 2.0 non turbo 940 but ain't needing the power for this one, and for the princely sum of £260 I aren't too stressed! ;D  |
