Through extreme generosity on the part of my dad & step mum (it was my 25th on Sunday), I now have an iPod and also the i-Station speaker unit to go with it
However, I can't find a cigarette lighter / 12V adaptor for the i-Station Apparently these are available, but when dad bought everything, they didn't have one. I have tried numerous internet searches, trying to find an adaptor, but with no luck so far.
This is very annoying as it will fit very nicely on the Amazon's parcel shelf, (or passenger's seat / lap in the case of the Sprite) and it's sound quality and volume are extremely impressive for something of that size. Also, it's completely removable, which makes it ideal for either car. Not surprisingly, I don't want to run it on the 4 AA batteries as it will no doubt get through them very quickly, and unfortunately neither car has mains power....
It want's DC 9V 2A, and is a very small pin (ie smaller than the one that is usually found for the power adaptors on walk / discmans etc.
Any help with advice on where to find such an adaptor would be very much appreciated!
