Just been thinking, instead of slagging of other peoples cars, why not slag off our own ;D so here is a thread for you to put what you like about your car and what you don't like...
Panda. Like... 1: 50 mpg. 2: nippy around town. 3: easy to fix. 4: engine ok if timing belt snaps. 5: cheap insurance.
Dislike... 1: poor acceleration over 40 mph. 2: seat wont go back enough. 3: ECVT gearbox costly to service/repair. 4: no cover for the sunroof (sun often blinds me). 5: clock buzzes and drives me insane.
Fiorino. Like... 1: loads of space. 2: turbo charged. 3: 45 mpg around town. 4: cheap to service. 5: can carry 2 cast iron baths ;D
Dislike... 1: parts are costly. 2: gearbox is a bit clunky. 3: rust. 4: no side loading door. 5: headrests too low. 6: no power steering.
900T camper. cant really say anything, seeing as it doesnt drive ;D

The 'scrot. Likes -- - the way it looks, I always turn and have a sly glance when I've parked it - the way it goes, Its pretty nippy (to me anyway) - the way it sounds, - the way it shakes on tick-over because of the lumpy cam. - the attention that it gets - Its so bloody easy to drive. Dislikes -- - Rust. - All those little bumps and dings that only i can see. - The way I doesn't always like to idle until its warm, even with a bit of choke - Its appitite for fuses because the wiring has been messed with over the years D

Merc 190E:
Likes: The colour, the interior, the condition, the grin factor I still get after 6 odd years of owning it, the MPG, the cost of parts, the wheels and the nice comments it always gets.
Dislikes: Absolute swine to keep clean (gloss black), the clutch pedal/the fact it's a manual (would have preffered an auto), the way I have to park it miles from any other cars in case someone knocks into it and the way the flaming brakes seem to be failing again after having them bled then a few months later a new master cylinder fitted.
The Chevette:
Likes:
Ace fun to drive, really different, the wheels, the interior, the fact wherever I go in it someone will always say 'haven't seen one of those in years/my dad/grandad/aunty/cat/hamster had one in the day', the slowness and people smiling at me and letting me out at junctions. It's almost the ideal car to make me happy when driving it.
Dislikes: Despite loving the slowness sometimes it's a drag, the rust and the brakes needing attention. That really is about it, I absolutely love the car.
*Edit: cracking thread Mr Selecta!

205: Like: 1. It was free 2. 55-60mpg 3. It's never been smoked in so it doesn't remind me what a foul, smelly habit I used to have 4. Handling....even with that hefty great diesel donkey in the front it handles brilliantly. 5. Brakes...'read your own front number-plate' brakes. Dislike: 1. Noisy diff/driveshaft (we shall see when it finally breaks) 2. Errr...that's it
Oxford: Like: 1. Near-silent B-series lump that seems to pull like a train virtually from idle. 2. That non-synchro bottom gear whine. So many memories! 3. Astonishingly comfortable. Dislike: 1. It's full of holes, like Seth's only not as bad. 2. In the current economic climate I couldn't afford to run it even if I could spare the money and time it needs spending on it. But one day I will.
