You slot slut (that feels good and sounds good to say)! I thought i had a lot of 'stuff', but as said before it pales into insignificance. My unused cars are filled with tat, my house in bournemouth is filled with tat, my friends' driveway in bournemouth is filled with tat, my mum's 10'x20' shed is filled with mostly my tat, her veranda is filled with tat, i have three engines at her house, and more tat in the attic and in my room at that house, but it's a molehill compared to your mountain!
*feels much better now* ;D

Build a rack like this (but obviously much larger) and pass it off as modern art, charge admission to fellow tat fanatics to fund more slots.

That is rather a lot of slot mags! My dad kicks up a fuss if I leave a spare set of wheels kicking about in the garage!

If I was American I'd be whooping and hollering and saying 'extreme tat' or some such phrase. But I'm not, so I won't.
It is inspiring me to fill my garage with all my curse word before it's even built though, nice work sir!

A serious amount of stuff there!
Oh, and I'm bookmarking this for the next time I get accused of hoarding stuff. Then I'll make her look at the pictures to realise how little I really have compared to a sixth dan master of tat collecting.
Off on a tangent - I'd quite like an old farm or something myself one day. Can you even begin to imagine what sort of stuff you'd have if space wasn't an issue?

Aaaah, Mr Trebus. Even has the level of rambling old stories to match It's getting to the point where every time I see a vehicle wearing slotmags, I think of Akku.

all ur slotmags r belong to us.
I'm waiting for hoarding to become an Olympic event then I can finally represent my country (rather than just representing for my cru*, obviously)
It is my long held ambition that when I die there will be a whole SERIES of Grimebusters made about me and the worrld price of recycled aluminium will fall noticably as my collection of by now useless alloys become available for smelting. this will go down in history as "The bursting of the Akku slot bubble", my notoriety will be eternal and I shall be laid to rest in a giant mauseleum built on the site of the old Cattle Shed at Santa Pod in a solid magnesium alloy sarcofegus which is a 1/3 scale replica of a 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire. The 2nd January will be declared Akku Day, a national holiday and a thousand nubile teenage girlies with dyed black crimped hair will prostrate themselves in lamentation that I never got the time to get to them...

Akku, are any of those 5 stud wheels 4.5pcd & 15" diameter? Or 4x4" pcd, 13" diameter & 5J or less? If so, I can happily provide a good home for a set of either or both ;D

I've been clearing out my garage the last couple of days (moving house) and I've found so much curse word it's untrue. How I managed to fit a car in there as well I have no idea. Shame most of it is going in the bin as I have no takers and nowhere to store it.

Wonderfull thread - in fact I'm going to take the rare step of showing my better half - this will 1. confirm what I already know that I am not alone and 2. That she will realise there are others with similar collections of wheels and it's not weird at all
She may not but it'll be fun anyway ;D

She says I'm not as bad but I'm still in the dog house untill I clear some stuff - she doesn't mind how much stuff I have as long as it's tidy - meh
I tried that before - tidy it all up and I can't find stuff but I'll try again and maybe she'll not notice any recent additions ;D

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

you know, the other night I sat down and started making a list of every company that had ever made slot mags, to see what kind of a job I'd have on to own a set of each... And then widened the scope to 5 spokes, Magnums, Rostyles, etc. And then I sketched up a modular storage thing to fit in the eve space of the garage to hold them. And then I gave up 'cos I thought that might be odd obsessive behaviour. I'd get a shot of the Bristols for you. AK - I've been chuckling away at this for the last 10 minutes or so... ;D
