I think it was a 1/25th scale but AMT did one but was marked rabbit and also if memory serves me correct you could get a 1/24 or 25th scale big bumper campaign style mk1 gti too i think they were ESCI??? heres a piccy of the AMT Mk1 Golf though  Jodie   |

Fujimi did a series of Golf GTi kits a few years ago. All deleted now but the kit number for the Mk1 is 12275. Ebay's probably the best source. Bob Dobbins at Karkits in Southend might have something as he deals in obsolete plastic.

Always end up chatting to PaulH about models at the Ace and say I ought to get going again. Finally got my paint and glue out again at the weekend. Dug out my B-Ville 56 Thunderbird I started three or so years ago. Getting the body prepped (can't decide on colour - might just be black) and some other parts together and painted. "Loosely" assembled  Under the hood. Front mounted blower added to the kit Y block engine that is set well back.  Plenums and injection scratch built and yet to add the tubes that run between blower and intake. |

I will get some pictures up of the Eunos I'm building when it's a little more complete, really quite proud of it as its my first ever build. Got some wheels on the way from Japan for it for added stance.

I ought to get around to fitting lights in a model at some point, really does make a difference to the overall look of the thing.

I started a while back on a stock one, but the amount of cleanup / filling rescribing required on the body has resulted in it being put back in the box for the time being  |

Where do you find 1:24 golf models ! anybody willing to sell ? What 'Mark' of Golf? They never did a Mk1 kit in 1:24, however I do have a very rare Mk1 chrome bumper kit in 1:20. You can get a 1:24 Mk1 GTi as a diecast model though. I did have about 200 of them in my unit at one point ;D Think I'm out of stock now though. If thats what you are after though then they are very rare, they were originally part of a magazine part work series in Italy called 'Quatroruote'. There is one on eBay at £29.99  I was selling them at £14.00 each at Ultimate Dubs... |

I've just bought myself a Fujimi Nissan March (Micra) K11 Tommy Kaira edition which gives you the ability to use the SR style bumpers or the Tommy Kaira ones.

must pull my finger out and finish these 2, they must have been sat next to my pc for 6 months untouched!  skyline only needs door handles/mirrors and a bit more bmf and its done |
