Well as a lot of you know I succombed a while back to the Powers of the Saxo VTR ;D But due to Insurance and fancying a change I decided to get shot and buy another car. I had every intention of buying a Brand new Panda 100 but decided against the debt and went looking for a Cinq. I got loads of advice from the friendly Peeps on FiatForum and went to view one......this is the point where I promptly forgot all of that ad vice and bought this: Its a dog pretty much......In fact the cluch release bearing disintergrated on the drive home and resulted in me being recovered home Haha It needs some work but now I've got it I feel I might as well get it looking alright, So this morning I've ordered A clutch kit, discs and pads, and a new and very much standard front bumper. Its obviously had bucket seats fitted at some point and now features a pair of SX front seats which are fixed and can't be moved so I need a Sporting interior......then get the rocker cover gasket fixed....then service it....then then then.... well you get the idea. Its been owned by a Chav in Manchester at some point and has aquired some choice m0dZ wich will all be removed ;D I'll update with some more pics Laterzzz!

Bought a dog of a Cinq? Easily done, as I found out the hard way... Currenty going three times over original 'fixing up' budget Still, even needing work can still feel that it's going to be a fun car to drive (if not own )

Haha I've spent £200 on it today.......Hopefully replacing the clutch will cure that problem and it won't need a gearbox.....then I have a feeling the Head Gasket will go. Considering changing that myself!!!
I know what you mean, even with the brakes not working well and the seat far to far forward it felt very fun!!
Work it needs:
Clutch and Release Bearing Replaced, Hopefully gearbox is ok. Brake Discs and Pads. Prolly replace Drums and Shoes as well. Front seats replaced with Sporting ones that move back and forth. Oil Leak dealt with. Appears to be rocker covber gasket so fingers crossed not the H/G De chavving in a big way haha

I fancy one of these as a wee hack-about. Looks fairly easy to get the euro look.....

The front seats are SX seats. Think it must have had buckets in it at some point, correct sporting front seats are on its way....

Managed to do some work to the Cinq: First thing this morning I changed the bumper over: Really pleased with how much better it looks, but I need the side securing bolts and fixtures if anyone has them. Then this afternoon I sorted out the interior The door cards were clear perspex sprayed black.......quality..... You've all seen Cinq door cards so only one pic: Then took out the SX seats and found some dodginess The Driver seats rear left hand mounting point looked like this: Which will have to be plated and re-tapped. The Passenger seat front right hand was secured with a screw. Took that out to find: Yup!! Another screw the top screw had been screwed beside it like a wedge!! Needless to say the screws were re-placed with correct Allen head bolts and the Sporting Seats went in: I also took out the tints on the back windows which was scarily easy haha and I think it looks waaaaaay better I've also got it booked in for the clutch to be re-placed and have recieved my brakes which I will fit over the weekend. The perspex rear door cards, SX seats and front bumper are free to a good home if anyone wants to come and pick them up.

Nice one mate! You've made a massive improvement on this one already, so me of the styling choices and quality of work looked shocking! Especially glad we didn't lose you to a brand new Fiat, I reckon you made the right choice

I've been trying to persuade our apprentice to get a Cinquecento Sporting when he passes his test. For some reason, he 's not convinced and would prefer a Corsa...

Good work, looks a lot better already . I've got a red bumper gasket you can have for postage. Haven't got any bumper fixings sorry. Have a pic of mine @ RR07 and a photoshop I did What size tyres has it got on it? They look a bit big in the pictures? I'd recommend some of these and a 40mm drop to make it handle even better. And 1 of these to make it a bit quicker (modded Punto 75 throttle body, 38mm compared to the standard 30mm jobby) And a P75 cam (equivalent to a fast road profile)
