Cheers guys! Ok, some modifications pictures. We are fans of the DIY approach when it comes to cars. So: Rear strut brace (it's been re-welded since then) Some points to reinforce the rear (done in a rush a few hours before a trackday ;D) Front strut brace No more sound deadening! As it stood for the second trackday The black vinyl stripes where there just to cover the holes left by the side trims... but it looked nice in the end. A sort of panda style. The specs at this time were simple: - Custom springs (harder e lower) - 175/60 Toyo front tires - 165/65 (bald) Yoko rear tires - Custom front and rear strut braces - Sparco 4 point seatbelts - Free flow exhaust (back box only... which is a center box from an Astra 1.6) - Electric fan override button I'll continue later on.

A few more. After the second trackday, we decided we wanted a lighter car... so: ;D The original paint was getting ugly, and two rust spots were discovered in the back, so we decided to strip and paint it in our own garage. First of all, we took care of the rust spots with the help of a friend and his MIG. First one Second one

Cheers lads! A few more to complete the story so far. After the paint, assembly started. We then bought some nice seats and a pair of Sabelt seatbelts... And thats how it stands in the moment. We've got some 70s OZ wheels to mount (still undecided about the colour scheme...) and that's about it for now. Lovely job mate very nice little toy you have there, any engine changes in mind Well, aside from the exhaust (manifold still stock) we have done a little bit of work to the head and modded the original Aisin carb. It's got enlarged jets and choke butterflys removed to achieve more air flow. We've also got a Kent Cam on the way, and plan to make/buy a 4-1 exhaust manifold and take some weight from the flywheel in due time. We would love to mount 2 DCOEs or something along those lines... but being a LHD car, the brake servo gets in the way...

Whats next and what would it look like minus the bumpers? Forgot to answer! Sorry. Without the bumpers it looks... weird. Especially in the front. I've got a Fiat 127 an it looks awesome without bumpers, but this one doesn't look so good.
