drop the brake booster! I drive a 74 Corolla without booster and AE86 callipers and discs and it's just GREAT. I also have a complete twin 40mm Weber IDF (vertical setup) for a 4K (carbs, manifold) which was taken from a KP60 racecar. If your interested, let me know, the carbs need a rebuild, but i don't want the world for it, probably needs a rejet too, because it's jetted for a tuned 4K racing engine ;D

That's quality! Lovely job you're doing, and on a four-door, too! Respect to that man

Thank 'youz. Also, thanks to "the doctor", I'm now in possession of these babies: Excellent seller, excellent bloke! As a happy coincidence, at the same time I sorted a Kent Cam (T122). So I guess I'm getting ready to build a nice engine.

Organized a trackday a few weekends ago. It was held at a kart track, and the starlet went on the "drift" sessions. ;D A couple onboard movies: Note: I've got to translate the text... but it's mainly around my numberous spins... even the soundtrack's an irony... ;D The car behaved magnificently (apart from the wrongly ajusted rear shocks - my fault ). Had a huge amount of fun, but wanted a bit more from myself... couldn't overcome the shortcomings of an open diff and ended up spinning like crazy.

IDF setup is way cool!
I'm starting on an engine for my KP61 very very shortly, I'm going with a 5K however. Impressive slides you've shown though, I had mine out at a trackday 2 days ago and was doing my best to slide the wee beast with a standard 4K.... and it just gripped instead!

Another trackday organized by us, another afternoon of Starlet fun! This time we got the rear shocks rebound spot on, and the car performed marvelously! Entering ANY corner, there were no hints of understeer whatsoever! Just a quick flick of the steering and off it went on a simple zero-counter-steer slide or a big oversteer one, depending on the throttle inputs. Amazing!! The end result was two sets of tires worn down to the wires! Some pics: And, as far as I'm concerned, the pic of the day! Onboard (excuse the crappy webcam exterior image... it's a work in progress!): With a few Toyotas: All by myself:

Great stuff, awesome little cars didn't realise you could slide so well with a little 1.3! Respect to your car building and drifting skillzor.
Love this bit in the Toyotas @ Work vid when you and the other Starlets come slidding round the corner together followed by the AE86. Inspiring!
Please keep us updated with progress ;D
