cheers all, nice to hear so many positive comments about the car, look forward to seeing some of the other k10's on here, and nice to see you on here Mat I was wondering when you'd show up as for why I didnt fit a 1.2 theres a good reason for this; nissan used the 1.0 ma10 as the base for their turbo engines in the figaro etc all these were 1.0 ma10et turbos. mainly because the 1.0 is a stronger engine and can handle a larger amount of power than the 1.2. besides a 1.2 couldnt even touch me now . its all part of a carefully thought out plan

That's wicked! I love the bodykit myself, and the fact that it's white (ultimate 80's colour!) just makes it superb! I like the fact that your tuning the 1.0 lump aswell, I like people who set themselves a challenge and it sounds like your making some good progress, bet it sounds ace on those bike carbs! Keep up the great work!

cheers street, yeah the sound is immense on the bike carbs, it like's revving up to 7k too although i try to avoid doing that too much. i had my first race with some chav in his 106 the other day and i not only beat him in his 1.4 but i out accelerated him uphill!!! i couldn't belive it, usually the 1.0 wont go above 60 (but this one does, 95 *cough*) uphill lol gotta love torque! lol shame the MPG is about half what it was now lol

I like that and i bet its fun - sounds like you've got a plan ;D
Good increase in power too - 55 to somewhere in the region of 85-90 at the flywheel? It looks stripped out inside - is it?
I like the bodykit but would have kept the earlier front end though.
Keep it coming!

Excellent! I miss my old workmate named "passion wagon" lots and lots. One night I had a drag race with Wickedbad in his Capri, and won.... nearly. respect to ya.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

minor update; Fitted vented disc's at a cost of £15 per disc and k11 March (JDM Micra) calipers, painted them in hammerite copper which seems to go nicely with the wheels. my mate picked the color wasn't sure at first but happy now braking is much improved and the nasty k10 brake fade is a thing of the past! pics;

the engine.was it the carbed one or was it a very early fuel injection? and the k11 calipers,do they just bolt straight on? all k10's were all carbed mate, the very very late ma12 engine had and ECU of sorts and a carb that is electronically controlled I guess Nissan just decided it wasn't worth adding in injection to the last line of micra's which is a damn shame! and yes the k11 JDm calipers will bolt straight to the k10 hub carriers without modifcation which then allows for the fitment of the vented wider discs. you can fit k11 hubs directly to the k10 which allows you to fit the UK k11 brakes which are even bigger, and in turn pulsar brakes to the k11 UK hubs

Think I was over-bid by about £50 the time I was after it. May have been a completely different car, but I'm guessing there aren't that many kitted K10's in white.
