I've bought myself this: A 1986 Starlet 1.3S, the highest grade available that days in the Netherlands (we never got the Turbo S sadly) 75 bhp and 750kg of raw J power Since it's an S, it has a nice interior with semi-bucket seats (with nice 80's upholstery ;D), leather steering wheel, tacho, some extra plastic bits in the interior. It has a front lip, and a rear spoiler and a swaybar in the front. Plans are: Sticking it with the hit (or something like that ) and throw away the stock rubbish carb (well, it's ok, until 1 of the many vacuumlines go faulty) and replace them by some bike carbs. And i'm looking at some nice 80's wide wheels. In the Netherlands i've seen a similar car on 8x13 ATS Classics and that looked the dangles! ;D For the rest, i'm not going to do much on it, an S grade is quite rare overhere!

That’s quite a neat-looking thing! I’d say more purposeful looking than K10 Micra, your thoughts on lowering and chunkier wheels sound perfect. We didn’t get ‘S’ here.

Hmm! I reckon a nice set of wheels will make it look superb, it has a nice clean look to it. Nice car!

i'd love to have the full Turbo S bodykit (together with the 105 bhp 1.3 12V Turbo engine which comes with it) but that's a bit out of the price range for me (and not what i want with the car, it's a DD ffs, no projectcar )

i know, that guy is from Holland I could buy his setup, but it's a bit pricey, for that money i can do it myself And i also know someone who has such a manifold, but i don't know if i want to invest that much money in the car ;D Would be ace tho, bike carbs, 4-2-1manifold, hot cam etc. etc. ;D Show those Turbo-Losers that N/A can do nice things too ;D

and I just won a set of carbs on ebay: Honda CBR600 Keihin carbs Sometimes ebay can be very bad, but found these carbs for like 20 pounds, so that's not bad I think . Now find some who can CNC a flange of the intake ports for me, so I can start on an intake manifold ;D

My mechanic/electrician is running a starlet as a daily driver....
Its white, got the full S-turbo bodykit, white enkei 15 inch 5 spokes and a tasty 12 valve engine turbo engine. They are apparently stronger than the later 4EFTE 16v... his is running 1.5 bar and 195hp at the wheels and its stupid fast ;D (m3 slaying fast)
12 valve turbo ftw!!!

the turbo bodykit just rocks! This is one from a Dutch guy from the Starlet Club. No turbo engine, but that kit looks awesome! Sideskirts and rear bumper are from the Haslbeck kit tho. And there is the complete Haslbeck kit (which is nice too! ;D): I'd love to have a 2E-TELU under the bonnet one day, but that's just wishfull thinking, i've got more then enough trouble with 1 project
