And i did fit the konis and the camber plates today (no extra lowering, but a WAY better feel shockwise ;D), but the camberplates gave me some problems. I did it before on my Corolla, but my Starlet didn't like full negative camber without a proper allignment (i thought just put it on max. neg. for a few days, and then get a proper allignment on monday). The car was SUPER nervous to drive, didn't steer wheel and the tires where squeeling whilest driving in a straight line! ;D Then i saw the camber i had, also produced MEGA toe in. On these pics i set the left wheel straigth (about 1/2 turn of the steering wheel ;D) and this is the toe in i got on the right: So i sat the camber to 0(ish) again and on monday i'll get a proper allignment job done ;D

well, the alignment is still way out, couldn't get me a decent alignment jobbie this week, but I managed to break 2 other things, so I can't drive it anyway Broke the changingthingiedevice on top of the koni's, so I can't adjust or remove the koni anymore, and the only key i've got broke also arg... But the good news ... ;D Fitted this: Whiteline 20mm adjustable swaybar (it should make a lot of difference so as i'm told by the fellow starletclub members ;D) And the postman brought these in today: And yes, the sheet is an A4 sized sheet ;D

I'd be very UP for that ;D
Btw, i testfitted Goof MK2 fender flares, and they do fit quite good, so after the Goof Mk1 front spoiler on my Corolla, i'm again adding VW stuff to my Toyota fleet ;D

These are ment to go on Dennismo's Suzuki Swift, but since they where in my boot, I couldn't resist to try them on for a photo of them ;D I think i'm going to look for some Golf 2's @ scrappy's ;D oh, and i'm driving on stock wheels to save the tires on my ATS wheels, because the allignment is still out

did another testfit of the flares, it's to bloody cold to work outside on the car ;D Radio etc. is all in, but it doesn't work yet I'm hoping that I made the plug wrong (needed to solder a new plug, because the starletplug was wrong) This was a test setup, and i'm glad I didn't fix everyting, because I need to do it all over again if I have bad luck And my latest acquisition: manifold for 2 40 weber carbs, got sick of trying to get a manifold made up, and I have some weber carbs lying in my room, so I just kinda changed plans ;D

6 months after I bought it.... back to the beginning. Tomorrow the car is gone, gone as in gone gone. Engine died (big end failure due to hard cornering with to little oil in engine), tried to fix it, but crank was too much damaged. I DON'T want to swap another engine in ANY WWD car, so I wanted to sell the car. Since it's a rare version, it makes more money in parts. So tomorrow i'm gonna take it apart, the shell is going to be raced on the Dutch tracks, and all the other parts are going in several Starlets from the Dutch club. Bye good friend, I won't WILL miss you Back to my 1 and only car, the KE20 ;D

This story makes more sense than the Dutch version :-)
So let me add another hypothesis; it all started with a very dirty airfilter? My 2E engine never consumed any oil apart from when I just bought it and the airfilter was very dirty. Could thing I didn't do the hard cornering part of the story :-)

Could thing I didn't do the hard cornering part of the story :-) i did a very fast right hand corner with 1L of oil in the engine uselessbug: the seats are going to be in a Starlet of someone from the dutch Starletclub, i'm keeping the audio myself, i will NEVER sell that ;D
