	bought it back last sunday, looked like this, still had the hand controls in it, one owner from new got it home at 5.30 sunday night and started work 2 hours later it looked like this

	car is solid apart from the A panels are toast so they got cleaned up and all the bad metal cut away, templates made and welded in the n/s n/s finished, just need to seal it all and black wax the inner wing

	cleaned, checked and rewrapped under bonnet loom before after old dashboard removed donated by a friend, RS2000 grafted in with my original speedo

	oh yes ged, its my homage to mr uren, if he did a 2 door mk5 i believe he would have used the carbed cologne and done a similar thing as this, ala mk3 savage, bonnet

	Yeah, bonnet gets my vote, will work very well with the square shape of these.

	cheers guys, bit more done tonight, tank removed cleaned and welded this plate in then found this after some poking around cleaned up and welded plates in thats all the structural welding done now, stated to make some templates for the bonnet infills
