Oooooof! Loving the thought of a moggy on kei's.
Can't wait to see the progress, and to actually see this thing in the flesh at some point.

Saw the early progress following a link form here some months ago. Fantastic looking build! Gotta be bne of the best modified Minors ever! Whats that hump on the pass side of the trans tunnel for? Also, someone on here bought a rusty moggy van last week - would probably be interested in that white van back that's in the background of a couple fo the pics if it were available!

very very very cool car! I love the out of the box thinking on this one, the stance appears to be spot on aswell. How much does the diff weigh for this car? I'm brewing ideas for my next project, i will need a RWD diff, but weight is of the upmost importance J

There is a big lump to clear the catalyst in the standard car - which is why we've removed it You can se the new bit of metal. But the grearbox mount still needs a bit of the space, so there is still a bit of a lump, but I can mount the seat much lower then before. White van is undergoing full rebuild. It was in a terrible state, and had pretty much all the floors replaced, new chassis, various patches to the body. Last time I ws there it was solid again and in the process of being prepped for paint.

I'll try and find out for you You need to be a bit careful with 200sx diffs as there are several types, some LSD's, some not, and different ratios for auto and manual, and euro or non euro spec, and they all look pretty much the same I believe. On the plus side it gives you a chance of finding something close to what you want ;D

The stance hmmmm It will end up a bit higher as we have done all the work with the springs removed and the cars sat on the bumpstops to make sure we have clearance under worst case conditions. But here are some interesting photos from early in the build. First one of the mockup hanging of the body panels. You can see how much the wheelbase has actually extended compared to a standrd moggy from where the wheels sit in the normal arches. But here is that picture photoshopped to get an idea of how the car will look. You can see that when the arches have been relocated and reprofiled, it should all look spot on - nearly standard but not quite, which is the aim.

Weeeey, great to have you over here.
I know a Steve that works on Minors and welds crouching over like that. Is he down in Kent, used to be next door to Burnham Autos, previously in Burnham Autos?

This Steve works with his father just outside of Milton Keynes and always has done Minor Medics in Castlethorpe. Recommended Loved this car, when I saw the pics for the first time about a year ago, when it was posted on here for the first time Seems like a year doesn't it? but I only started the project in Dec last year, and posted the first pics on SXOC in June this year! By the time Its finished it'll seem like a decade has passed....
