This project reminds me of a Mini Pick-up I saw in St Andrews that was rebuilt on a 4x4 Panda chassis/running gear/engine etc, with a with a Clubman front end on it to fit the motor in. Can't remember what engine he had in there, might track him down when I get back to uni.
Yours looks absolutely diamond - styling thoughts when finished? Furnish us with fantastical photochops please.

Furnish us with fantastical photochops please. I'm useless when it comes to photochop - it took me ages to do the one in my sig and its still multicoloured However if one of the chaps on here wants to have a go I'd be interested to see the results |

This car is fantastic! It is so cleverley built combining the 2 bodyshells, very very skillfull.
Is it near completion yet?
Brilliant, cant wait to see any finished pics.

Oooo, that is my Porker. Should be going to pick it up on Tuesday. It'd better look more cheerful than that otherwise I'll not be a happy bunny Big Arches! Is your 914 being e-coated? If not, whats your plan for inside box sections? (Do 914's have any closed box section?) I'm going to get some paint inside them, using the kind of nozzle that comes with cavity wax, and then add cavity wax. I'm hoping that will be sufficient. |

Another update as quite a bit of progress has occurred! Got my engine bottom end bits back from the machine shop. Block bored honed and refaced  Crank knife edged and balanced  Flywheel lightened and balanced  Pistons - 1mm oversized and dished to reduce CR by half a ratio  dummy build to check everthing   Now waiting for head to be finshed so I can build engine properly Meanwhile, cage is now fitted and car back to Minor Medics.    Cage is attached to shell in 27 seperate points ;D And we tried fitting my ebay aquired 4inch over rear wings to see how it looks      |

Ah man words do not explain how cool this car will be when it's done! That's one hell of a roll cage as well!
