Here are my other cars (except my Focus (daily driver)).:
First is a 1975 MG Midget 1500. As you can tell, it's lowered at the front, (one rear spring is the wrong one: new springs on the cards), and it also has a 7,000 mile Ivor Searle Engine with a Ported head. I know it runs miles better than the original engine (That had a cracked head, so kept on spewing in water, and misfiring).
As you can tell it needs a bit of tidying up (Bumper is off as it was a bit rotten (have a Good replacement to go on), and I stonechippied the front as well as derusting it. The Interior Dashboard needs respraying at some point, and one rear corner needs welding up (replacement Panel is ready.
I was misold the car alot, but for £300 it's not too bad. It has decent A Pillars, and Sills and a reasonably sound body for instance .
This is my partially owned Volvo 740 2.0 SE:
This is the car we (4 friends of mine) are planning to go down to Spain in this Summer. It cost £260, is Taxed and MOT'd untill November, and seems to be in good condition and remarkably rust free.
For more info on the trip, and progress on the car, take a look at www.tera-host.co.uk/spain.
And here is a previous classic of mine;a 1970 VW Beetle 1200:
As you may be able to tell from the Pics this car, despite being fairly original was modified:
1300 Twin Port Engine with 009 Dizzy, and Solox 31/30 Carb
Bugpack Merged Header, with Turbo Trip Tuckaway Silencer
Sway Away front Beam
Lowered One Spline on the Rear
It was a nice car to drive (despite the heating being a bit poor compared to my other cars (I had warm legs with this car though lol), but my everyday uses did not suit it. It had a 1200 box which made it almost useless for my increasing amount of motorway work.
But I hope you enjoy .
