I've been speaking to the owner of this site www.funksoulkitty.org/ and am trying to persuade her to come along and join here - though she's a little shy. So some encourgament from you lot would probably help......
How can you butt in, if you are invited to join? Nonsense. What a great scirocco, anyway! Lets have some more pics and specs!!!
Hello everyone!
First to clarify, the Arrogant curse word Ale Scirocco in the first pic is not my car....it was one of the Sciroccos at DubWars 2005.
My hot little hunk is still a little rough around the edges in terms of looks....but then again....it is what is in the engine bay that counts ;D
A picture of him when I first got him in '97:
I have no plans for exterior modifications...I think the Mk1 Scirocco is perfect as is....Giugiaro was perfect in his design.....although he will be painted bright blue once I have money again (stupid power lust...).
The engine bay is where all the money was spent:
And a much smaller version of the picture that is TOOO big for this forum....
letsee...specs:

...and lots more ;D
I documented every bit of the swap and have uploaded most..okay...um....half of the swap pages onto my website. I am a bit behind on the remaining pages, but I am working on them:
...and um yes...so that is Shocky Jr....my hot little hunk of a '79 Scirocco. Many more things are in the plans for the future...most notably AWD (Haldex, baby...), and secret stuff above and beyond current power and handling levels....
Here is the last video that was made (in March):
My name is Kirsten BTW....a pic of Shocky and I...
(Tim.....you should delete the big image of the engine bay... )
Whoah! Cool! Your 'rocco is SWEET! You're right - the looks are great as they are. I've always had a soft spot for them, shame they're all totally rotten over here
Stick around, your contributions will be most welcome I'm sure
I would have posted pics of that...but I was sternly warned against posting such non-car related items....
(so there, Tim!.... )
