Get your husband to do the needlework bits! Then you can concentrate on welding, engine development etc.

Point Taken  Superb project, bordering on being an all-consuming obsession it seems. 20/10 - I salute you FSK. Gone well beyond borderline.....and thank you!  So that was what I was mid-project on in the interior...the engine bay...well....I forgot to mention that I am also wiring in a bunch more things right now like wheel speed sensors for traction control through the DTA, launch control, switches and buttons...oh yeah!, and gauges and the like....    Wiring is my thing....so this project is much more fun than the interior stuff ;D You can see my "beyond borderline" obsession reflected in my Wiring Details Page |

Yeah, I am sorely deficient in the cooking, cleaning, etc. departments... One of the nicest 20vT installs I've seen so far...And I'm a fan of wiring too - just route it nicely and it looks great. *n THANKS! That is really nice of you to say ;D I have all my wiring routed, cut to length and organized just so....now I am going back through the engine bay and bundling everything together and re-routing to more optimize the paths and appearance. Kirsten, firstly welcome to the forum - i'm surprised you didn't make it over here before... but i can't believe you have the audacity to post pics of shocky jr naked!  people will think he's some kind of slut if they see his body being flaunted on the net like that i mean how would you feel? glad to see your obsessive-compulsive isn't cured yet - i'm thinking you have been talking to the wiring looms a lot recently. Maybe time to have a stern word with some of that rust though - shocky jr doesn't need acne. |

Nope...my obsessive-compulsiveness is far from cured...and I suspect it will be a long time coming before it is...  I am attending to Shocky's needs every day after work...rust inclusive. I hate working on non-mechanical or wiring stuff, but sometimes it just has to be done Since Shocky doesn't live with me I drive about 45 minutes in rush hour traffic...then spend the evening with him, head home around 12:30am...get about two-three hours of sleep...get up...get some stuff done....go to work...repeat. I challenge anyone to show me a car more loved than Shocky |

I don't know how you manage to find the time to keep such a detailed record photos/writing through every stage of your project let alone update your website with it. I am lucky if I get a before and after picture on a two year project ;D

I had previously stumbled across your website about a year ago whilst hunting for all things old watercooled VW, it seems alot has happened with your Rocco' since then!Its nice to hear from people who have a real passion and (almost obsessional) dedication to their car I must admit I have a soft-spot for Mk1 Sciroccos they are such pretty cars - I can't see how VW thought the Mk2 was an improvement styling wise (sorry iRocco) I bet your car flies now with the 20valve in it? - you must be nearing the 200Bhp per ton |
