Right,the shed of joy has become full to bursting and must be relieved so some of the shed things are for sale. first up,the shiny things. set of 14x7 reverse offset bolt on LA wires. Brand spanking, 3 still in boxes. 5x103,5x110 i believe (will check when i can find my tape!)    ^had plans of putting them onto a mk3 golf for a crazy rollerskate look. Seeing as they're steel,its possible to get them re-drilled by a machinist if the pcd isn't to your taste. £250 ono next up,used wires... 14x7 standard offset. McLean wires,were on my scorpio for a year, come with new 5 stud multifit adaptors, new 2-bar knock offs, and 185/60 tyres. Could do with a clean up,they've been gathering dust and surface rust in the shed.   £175 and finally an old welder,sealey mightymig 135. Needs a torch,and a reg,though i've got a big bottle reg new i could thorw in for the right money.  £50 or make me an offer. |

Welder! Welder! Can I have your welder??  How much roughly to make it work, bearing in mind i have no idea what a torch is and i'm pretty much guessing that the reg is the gas regulator for the top of the bottle? |

pillock (that sounds really harsh)- in all honesty I dunno how much for a torch, i know machine mart ones are around a tenner. This being a sealey they're prob a bit more. Most good motor factors are sealey dealers and can get spares. Aside from the torch,you'd need wire (about £20 for a 5kg reel),and gas. Small regs are about a tenner for the little co2 bottles. The co2 bottles are about the same.
guz/pillock- the reg I've got that I'll throw in is one that came with my new welder and as I've got an air products integral cylinder/reg I don't need it. I'll get a pic up tomorrow,its for co2 I think from memory.

Also would those used wires fit a merc W115 do ya rekon? (offset and all that!)
I'm properly interested, they may give me the kick in the proverbial I need to get my merc done!

no bugjam for tom i'm afraid. The offset would be ok,they should sit just off missing your arches(i've had similar on a 123) back end is no probs,front you MAY need to 'clearance' the arch inner lip,depends how low your car sits. is your merc a 5x112 pcd? Cos the adaptors are 5x4.5, 5x 4.75, 5x5 so you should be fine.

yeah its PCD 5x112, the arches aren't there at the moment,  , being welded at the moment. I'm in Rutland, near Leicester, LE15 6TA postal code |
