Period radios could be good, theres a lot of audio equipt there on ebay. I'm behind the times with big audio systems, always last on the list. will keep an eye on your auctions, better speakers are required at some point.

I found the big box of radios last night but didn't delve much further. Loads of this stuff has been boxed since I moved house a year ago.
I like audio, problem is I have enough gear stashed to kit out about 5 cars and only one on the road now! I'm not that fussed really as the Olds has been in daily use since November with no radio at all. I'd rather have cars on the road than stuff in the attic...

I'll put it all up in a separate post. A lot of the stuff I have is older than that though.
I did have a nice 1980s Ford Orion Ghia stereo with an external amp but I flogged that a while ago. Apparently a rare option.
