Rolls Royce? Power figures are a state secret but you gotta be able to light them rears up with that V8. OK, parts cost the earth but... IT'S A ROLLER! £2k would get you.... well, it'd have T&T? I think you might get a half decent one for that. Not sure about the later ones but Shadows have about 215bhp*. However over half of that is available not far above tickover. TBH, its not about the bhp but the torque ;D *A previous boss of mine had one & dynoed the engine in his test cell after rebuilding it as the seals had all gone / perished. Despite 100K on the clock, EVERYTHING was still in optimum tolerance!!!!

Don't like stretched tyres, very low profile tyres & I think a car CAN be too low. Perhaps I'm odd.

Rollers are cheap now. I drove a '71 Silver Shadow for a friends wedding car company a while back (used to belong to Diana Dors!) and it was shockingly quick! I inadvertantly smoked the tyres out the end of his road despite merely breathing on the pedal.

I don't think it'd be a C5 - more likely a C4, or possibly a C3 - even C5's imported in tatty state from Japan are still about 9.5K..........either way, I'm interested...... Whatever - C3/4/5. F :-Xckin' Chevys all look the same to me. So sue me I think it's probably a C4.

Senator 12 & 24 valve I will definitely endorse. I've got one of each. They're simple to work on, if I can fix 'em, anyone can. Carlton GSi are easy too. You can buy my 12 valve if you like...........

That Cadillac is yuk. Even I can see that! plus it makes the mistake of being a big car with a small block rather than the other way around. Looks like one of those Pimp My Ride plastic toys from Toys-R-Us...
