Yes, I know there is loads. I'm going to be there for nearly three weeks, roughly split between Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nagasaki. I'm hopeful of getting a slot on the Mazda factory tour, and I'm definitely going to pop by Nissan Crossing, Porsche Ginza, and Liberty Walk. I'd love to experience a proper 'car meet' like in Tokyo Drift, but I know real life probably isn't like that. Was planning on popping in to Flat Four in Meguro, but it's now a Build Your Dolphin showroom instead. Gutted.
Any tips? Also, anyone suggesting RWB is going on my block list and getting a jobbie in the post.

I don't think it will ever happen, but if I was to go to japan I would certainly want to visit Mooneyes of Japan, wheater the shop or the associated meeting.

I don't think it will ever happen, but if I was to go to japan I would certainly want to visit Mooneyes of Japan, wheater the shop or the associated meeting. That's down in Yokohama, not too far from where Flat 4 is now. It's a possibility depending on where I'm staying, but it's an hour and a half train ride from Shibuya.  |

If you can get a local to take you to Daikoku Parking Area you will love it. You can get there yourself but its better with locals. RWB Speedhunters have a whole archive on the place. www.speedhunters.com/tag/daikoku-parking-area/Essentially a car show most of the time. There is a specific touge that I can't quite remember the name of. Maybe Gunsai? I'm pretty sure the Spoon factory is open to the public, or they have a museum... Tsukuba circuit would be cool but is a bit out of the way, same for fuji. Some of the grass routes drift venues are insanely cool. Please do a trip report! |

I'm an engineer. If you've not already gathered, I have an absolute visceral hatred of RWB.

I'm planning to visit at least an Upgarage and an autobacs when I'm over in Japan in September/oktober.
I don't have much free time, but that should be doable. Together with the Toyota museum. Toyota isn't doing factory tours now, sadly.
I'd love to go to the Daikoku thing, but that's not going to happen, I think.
