Anyone know if x300 or x308 glass will fit? Having owned both my instinct is probably not. I seem to recall the XJ40 glass/ top half being more flat than the X300. I'm not 100% sure so open to someone more knowledgable than myself to correct me if I'm wrong but just from memory I don't think it'll be a match.

Insurance have so far been useless. I'm covered for glass so they put me on to the separate company that deals with it. They spent a day looking for a rear screen and called me back to say they couldn't find one so wouldn't be able to do it. They then said I could source one myself and pay them to fit it for £170. Kind of defeats the object of the insurance!
Meanwhile, the tape and plastic is leaking and the interior is getting wet. I also can't use it and it's causing issues not being able to pick the kids up in my sillier cars....

Personally I'd be trying to find a breaking car nearby and whip the screen out myself. Then you could either do it yourself, or see if a windscreen fitter nearby wants a cash in hand job. There's usually plenty of them breaking still, and folks like them for bangers and don't need the glass.

Think I'll try and do it myself, too

Anyone know if x300/x308 rear screens will fit? Having no luck with XJ40 ones. One has been listed for £50 but it's south of London which would be a over a 10 hour round trip.
Plenty of X300/X308s but I can't find any definitive answers as to whether they'll fit.
My only clue is that there is an XJ40 rear screen on eBay that some one is trying to get £800 for and the NOS sticker on it says XJ40/X300... this fills me with hope but I wouldn't want to risk it without more confirmation
