	It's here, finally! Cropped up on a Facebook selling page which a good mate of mine screen shot and sent me. It sparked his interest as it has a Sheffield registration on it. A phone call was made and a deal struck, £280 delivered from Wakefield. Due to the terrible weather last week it didn't happen but turned up today. It's gonna need some welding 😂

Indeed but for what I paid I'm not fussed, this may be the one I pick up my learning how to weld. And as it's being 'rodded' most of its not needed. It's definitely gonna need floor pans but again they are cheap. But luckily my bro in law is my welder at work also.

	That takes me back. I can almost smell (and taste) the grease and rust from my first beetle project (though I didn’t know it when I bought it) about a gazillion years ago. Can’t wait to see what you do with this!

	That's a cheap Beetle by today's standards. Looks crusty, but no worse than I bet most of the £2k ones on FB Marketplace will be under the skin.

Cheers Grizz, the doors on mine are ropey but shut really smoothly so will repair the bottoms. As of the seats I'm thinking some kind of hsnd made bomber or bench is going in it
