Brilliant! I was kind of wondering about this the other day.
Seem to remember there is something that can happen with blowers, where the air gets corkscrewed on the way out. No worries that it will all get blasted up one side of the inlet ducting, but not the other? Don't know what made me think of this, but I'm sure I heard it somewhere.

Thanks guys. horrido , I think that becomes a problem at higher boost levels. When the flow starts to influence the pressure inside the ducting. At the pressure level this vintage blower is making, I think it will be OK. And also, the adaptor between the twin Dellortos and the intake is basically another plenum. So even if there is a press difference between the carbs, it will even back out there. But, as a plan "B" , incase I need it ( if there is a mystery problem with dialing in the carbs) I can connect the two press boxes on top of the carbs on the firewall side. ( I have the aluminum elbows to do it). I'll have to Tig up some extra holes on those anyway, so that may be a good time to do that...

Driver side door. Sheetmetal with some compound curve rolled into it. Flange at the lower edge. Tacked in. Hammering the lower edge over. Checking fit. Finish welded.

I changed the lower front corners of the doorglass, by welding in the lower rear corners of my donor doors. With the old corner cut out for a buttweld.

I did some work correcting the door gaps.
And that brought me to a good stopping point for this car...
The metalwork is pretty much done.
It still needs some detail work, and finish welding when the body comes off for paint.
But for right now, I'll park this car to catch up on some other projects.

It will sit here for a while. I want to finish some other projects, and also I need to postpone the cost of the paintjob. But that doesn't mean the the '32 Coupe content is going to stop. This 3W belongs to a buddy of mine. I started on it a long time ago, but then it sat for a long time. It was rougher than my 5W. Plan is to finish the metalwork on it ( to the spec and wishes of the owner). I'll start a new Buildthread for it. Behind the 3W you can see the spaceframe 500 racer. I plan to work on it at the same time as well ( and picking up its Buildthread where I left off ).

Car looks great and your mockup was pretty close - bet you're stoked!
However, I can't imagine getting my dream car that built and then parking it up... I'd be chomping at the bit!!
Surely a primer blowover and get some use out of it?
