Not much to report. Got a parcel in the post finally from the states to finally give me a cup holder in the car cause there are none. Removed the old ash tray and used some VHB 3M tape to hold it in.  Only other things I did were take some more pictures of the car!   Cheers! |

Don't know why I come on this thread, I get more and more jealous of the 300 each time, 😁😁
Seriously, it's stunning and totally agree with getting a winter runaround,
Personally I wouldn't use heat on the trims, some clown had obviously used it on the trims on my E39, well he was trying to restore them or barbecue them !!
They now need either a lot of repair work or replacing completely as the surface of them is akin to a pubescent teenagers complexion !!

those bumpers are comically grey! Haha they’re very bad aren’t they, I am sure the coating will make them night and day and atleast dark grey again, it turns up tomorrow. |

Yeah for sure I don’t wanna drive it through the salt and curse word on the road, I’d rather keep it parked up outside and warmed up/moved round the road to the drive where I wash it so I can’t keep it nice and clean. It’s only going to be off the road for 4months so not the end of the world anyway, probs get some dehumidifiers in the footwells just to prevent any mould and keep an eye on it each week 🤙🏻 |

We've had a couple of yaris as run arounds and they are really decent little cars. 600 quid is a bargain. Our last one was 900 and it was pretty rough.

You need to come to work when cars there so you can talk me in or out of further questionable life choices on my part 🤷😂

Thanks mate! To be fair if I got some wheels for it I’d get some dinky 13” splits, maybe even some little advan 3 spokes but that would defeat the point of the car cause the wheels would probs cost as much as it! |

We've had a couple of yaris as run arounds and they are really decent little cars. 600 quid is a bargain. Our last one was 900 and it was pretty rough. My brother had a 1.5 t-sport and we both absolutely loved it! I'm over the moon with it if I’m honest even if it just lasts this winter for how much I paid, still can’t believe how much it sips fuel too! |

Haha honestly mate if SR20s were still affordable I’d have one of those in there and make 350-400hp but it weight way less than the VG and have all the room in the world to work on it! |

Update 300zx is still parked in its usual spot, funny how black cars stay clean if you don’t use them 😂 I’ll move it at the end of the week to warm it up and give it a clean and spray seal too.  Took some afters of the seats and it’s all feeling a lot more sanitary inside.   My strut brace came in the post I bought, it was cheap at £30 but it needs/needed some love. Perfect for a fussy curse word like me 🥹  Bar was quite oxidized and the ends are in similar knick. I took the eyelets and nuts/bolts off and dropped them to be nickel plated today to shine them up, a bit on the expensive side but I’ll do it nice once and ceramic coat them when they’re back. Also wet sanded and polished the bare across the middle tonight to the best of my attention span, even for someone with as robotic a brain as mine it was monotonous, seems to have come out 90%.  Just the feet/standoffs to sort but I’ll drop them at the powder coaters tomorrow to be made silver and all should be good in the world. I can fit it to the car and not drive it 😂 Also showed yarrison ford some love and used some gtechniq trim restore on the bumpers. One to see if it would change the color at all and two to make it hydrophobic and super easy to clean.  No after pics just because it’s dark now and takes 12 hours to fully cure. Thanks! |
